Location and surroundings
This coastal province on the Andaman coast 814 km south of Bangkok, limited in an area of 4709 square km Phang-Nga and Surat Thani in the north, Trang and the Andaman Sea in the south, Trang and Nakhon Si Thammarat to the east, Phang Nga and the Andaman Sea in the west .
Climate
For the influence of the tropical monsoon, there are only two seasons in this province, the hot season from January to April and the rainy season from May to December. The temperatures are between 17 ? C and 37 ? C

Geography
Krabi is penetrated mainly the topography of mountains and plateaus, plains, and in some areas. The province also includes over 130 islands in the Andaman Sea. Sandy soil conditions for growing various agricultural products including rubber trees, palms, coconuts, cashew nuts and coffee suitable. The Krabi River flows 5 km in the city and the Andaman Sea at Pak Nam Sub castle district. There are many rivers that originate from the line of the highest mountain in the province, Khao Phanom Bench.

Krabi is divided into eight districts (Amphoe): Muang, Khao Phanom, Khlong Thom, Plai Phraya, Ko Lanta, Au Luek, Lam Thap Nua Khlong
